Police Confirms ADF Rebel Attack on Foreign Tourists at National Park

Suspected rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces-ADF have killed two foreign tourists and a Uganda national in Queen Elizabeth National Park. 

The attackers also torched a land cruiser belonging to Wild Gorilla Safaris registration number UBF 303C. Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga, confirmed the attack in a tweet on the official police handle. 

“We have registered a cowardly attack on two foreign tourists and an Uganda national, ” read the tweet from Enanga. 

He explained that joint security forces reacted aggressively upon receiving news of the attack and are actively pursuing the attackers. 

According to available information, the attack happened around Lake Nyamunanuka.
