Despite Police changing venues two times ahead of the National Unity Platform mobilization tour in Mukono district, the political magnetic fields on Robert Kyagulanyi again pulled masses to the main rally.
Earlier, the district organizing committee had selected the taxi park as a venue for the main rally but police rejected it saying it would interrupt the business community.
Police advised the organizers to consider Njogezi playground near Betty Nambooze’s residential home.
However, again police changed the venue instructing the organisers to consider Ntawo playground, a place located in a remote area with dusty roads to access.
Nonetheless, the masses followed up with Kyagulanyi and his team from the party headquarters to listen to the ‘liberation message’.
At the rally, he asked residents to avoid corruption tendencies, double standards, and working with the Museveni government.
