The Minister for Presidency Milly Babirye Babalanda has recalled Buikwe District Resident Commissioner Hawa Ndege Namugenyi to the headquarters.
The RDC has been cited in many dubious land dealings besides extorting money from residents to handle their concerns.
A few weeks ago, RDC Ndege faced off with the Minister of State in the Office of the Vice President Diana Mutasingwa over unlawfull eviction of a family from their home contrary to her mandate.
In her latter dated 3rd April 2024, Minister Babalanda said the argument between the Minister and the RDC discredited the Office of the President.
She adds any further redeployment will depend on the advice from the President and they also wait for a detailed report on what happened.
