Residents and workers within Mukono district have been treated to fun and excitement following the commencement of the first street business festival in the area.
The festival powered by Rose foam mattresses among other giant companies has set an opportunity for exhibition of various products manufactured for local and global consumption.
Rodney Ssejjoba, one of the festival organizers says the festival has turned into an excellent opportunity for several companies to showcase their products and services.
“We still have space for stalls to those who wish to join us. We have enough media space for acknowledging participating companies at the festivals and on the promo trucks. But also, we have a number of artists for the days we are going to stay.” Ssejjoba notes.
The festival which has started today is expected to end on Sunday this month at Mukono district headquarter lane.
The Mayor for Mukono Municipality, Erisa Mukasa Nkoyoyo says the festival is giving a great opportunity to consumers liaise with the manufacturers, besides giving a chance of exposure to school children and students in higher institutions of learning.
Nkoyoyo is grateful to the organizers saying the festival has indeed made a difference and perception of Mukono municipality and the district at large.
