Mukono National Unity Platform foot soldier on Saturday threw a birthday party for the Former State Minister for Water Ronald Kibuule to celebrate his 40th birthday.
Abdul Rahman Bogeere who headed the security team for the current Mukono North Member of Parliament Abdulla Kiwanuka during the 2021 general elections organized the party at Kisowera trading centre along Mukono-Bugerere road.
After attending the thanksgiving service for the quadragenarian journey at Kisowera Church of Uganda, Kibuule joined the foot soldier and the rest of his supporters in the area to cut the cake.
Bogeere asked Kibuule to contest for the position of Member of Parliament for Mukono North in the next general elections to bridge the gap of limited service delivery in their area.
From Kisowera, Kibuule headed to his hotel (Mzuri Africa Hotel) where his supporters belonging to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) also surprised him with another birthday party.
Among the guests was Dr Daisy Ssonko who expressed disregard to the people of Mukono North County for a poor selection of leaders causing the underdevelopment of their communities.
“You cannot talk about the establishment of Mbalala Industrial Park and forget to mention the name Hon. Kibuule. What has been happening in that sector ever since he left parliament? Factories mean job opportunities for our children.”
Arafat Ssenyonjo noted that preparations for the party took them one month without the knowledge of Kibuule with funds raised from the very members who attended.
Buvuma Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Patrick Mubiru said age comes with wisdom before asking residents to trust more tasks to Kibuule for optical solutions.
Kibuule expressed happiness to his supporters for the genuine love expressed as he clocked 40 years of age.
He assured residents of Mukono County North about his return. “A return of not failing but to win.”
“For the much love you have always expressed despite leaving parliament, I am compelled to return and serve you. It’s high time we forget about the past and start afresh on the journey to our next victory.”
