The appointment pleased fellow residents in Masaka especially the business people, mobilized by Godfrey Kalyango, the proprietor of Plan ‘A’ Pub and Guest House in Masaka City organized a thanksgiving party to celebrate the general’s success.

The party was held at Greenville Country Resort-Gayaza, Masaka City. It was graced by Rev. Father George Williams Mukalazi of Mbirizi Parish who blessed Gen. Mbadi and the entire family.

Fr Mukalazi applauded Gen. Mbadi for maintaining the marriage reunion despite the better-quality responsibilities he renders to the country.

Gen. Mbadi expressed gratitude to the wife for playing a significant role in ensuring the proper growth of their children as well as remaining faithful and committed to their marriage.

“I thank the president for trusting me with this position, I am ready to work with everybody and ensure that our country attains a $500 billion economy within the next ten years.” Gen Mbadi noted.

He also asked the business community in Masaka to pay taxes to support the country’s development.

Where there is disagreement, Gen Mbadi asked them to choose negotiation means other than demonstrations since they affect both the business people and the government.

Kalyango on behalf of the business community noted that they are ready to support Gen Mbadi adding that since he resides in the area, it is an opportunity for them to always report issues affecting their businesses and discuss improvement solutions.
