Police in Mukono have arrested two juvenile offenders accused of setting on fire a mini-supermarket to disguise evidence of theft.
The incident happened at Kiwala Village in Nama Sub County in Mukono district.
Preliminary investigations indicate that two juveniles identified as Nuludini Buyondo and Sula Hassan touched the supermarket belonging to Silver Oluka.

It is alleged that the two took several items before touching the shop. These created a hole in the wall they used to enter inside.
One of the residents who identified himself as Wasswa Mulongo has told this website that by the time residents arrived at the scene, several items had been burnt.
He says they saw one of the offenders taking off. David Bisaso, the LCI Chairperson says crimes related to theft and housebreaking in the area are on the rampage.
The Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Mike Ssegawa has attributed the act to the indecent upbringing of children by parents.
With the escalating crimes in the area, Ssegawa has noted that security teams have already agreed to intensify patrols to curb such criminalities.
