Moses Kaliisa Karangwa, the senior presidential advisor on special duties and the NRM chairperson for Kayunga District, has graduated with a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration from Kampala University 23rd graduation.
Speaking shortly after the graduation ceremony, Karangwa said returning to the classroom had been a transformative experience that broadened his understanding of community needs and social development.
“I have spent the biggest part of my life making money, but now that I have embarked on this journey, I am going back for further studies,” he said.
He noted that the knowledge gained will enhance his ability to serve communities more effectively, particularly in addressing social challenges and promoting inclusive development.
Karangwa also used the occasion to encourage fellow businesspeople and leaders to embrace education regardless of age or status.
“I call upon my fellow businessmen to also return to school and acquire knowledge that can help us better serve society,” he added.
A total of 3514 students have graduated.
