Wilson Male, the former contestant for Mukono South Member of Parliament and National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer, is walking with purposeful strides in his constituency.
The visionary and proactive politician and son of the soil is advocating for a special partnership between Uganda and US investors with a vision of transforming his homeland.
According to Male, he travelled to Salt Lake City, Utah, USA to engage leaders, potential investors and lobby development opportunities for his people.

In his discussions with Utah state leaders, Male detailed Uganda’s untapped market potential and the investment opportunity available, particularly noting the advantage of operational costs.
“Mukono south constituency is compared to that of Salt Lake City here in Utah. This link between our constituencies further excited my visit to your beautiful state,” he stated.
Male added: “I hope that we may have the privilege of viewing your successful endeavours that we may emulate.

He further points out the comparative advantages of Mukono South and Salt Lake City, suggesting that sharing successful strategies could benefit both regions.
Male proposed a comparative study between Utah and Mukono South to explore possibilities for industrial expansion and development services.
His proposal was presented to Utah Governor Spencer Cox and several senior advisors, including Mike Mower, Emma Williams, Michelle Stancer, Steve Waldrib, Sydney Jorgensen, and Dr. Tar, the Liberian Ambassador to the USA.

Governor Cox expressed a keen interest in enhancing the capabilities of Mukono politicians and announced plans to send feasibility study teams to Lake Victoria starting in October.
He praised Male for his commitment to non-violent conflict resolution following the recent elections, where Male lost to Fred Kayondo.
Although Male contested the election results in the High Court of Mukono, the court upheld the electoral commission’s decision.
