Rev. Fr. Bonny Kalyesubula

The Catholic community in Masaka Diocese is mourning the death of Rev. Fr. Bonny Kalyesubula, who died in a road accident on Wednesday evening.

Fr. Kalyesubula served as the diocesan coordinator for construction projects and was widely known for overseeing several infrastructure developments within the diocese.

At the time of his death, he was residing at Kitasa Parish in Bukomansimbi District, where he had been carrying out his pastoral duties.

Details surrounding the crash, including the exact location and circumstances of the accident, were not immediately available by press time.

Tributes have started pouring in from clergy, parishioners and members of the wider Catholic community, describing Fr. Kalyesubula as a dedicated priest whose commitment to the Church and community development will be greatly missed.

The Diocese of Masaka is yet to issue an official statement regarding funeral arrangements.
