So far nine people shot during protests following the arrest of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu the National Unity Platform-NUP party presidential candidate are confirmed dead while undergoing surgery at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
Dr. Baterana Byarugaba, the Executive Director Mulago National Referral Hospital has also revealed receiving 77 causalities explaining that 48 out of the 68 patient got traumatic injuries.
Most of the injured people were found on their work places. The Kampala Minister, Betty Amongi who has visited Mulago National Referral Hospital to assess the situation of the causalities and fatalities says they facing a huge task of ending protests in the city.
