The former National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson for Masaka, Peter Senkungu, has survived a road crash along Kidda Road near Konoweka School and Hill Road in Masaka City.
According to preliminary information, the crash happened when the driver of a Fuso truck, registration number UAW 750S, reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it rammed into Senkungu’s Subaru Forester, registration number UA 853CR.
Details about the cause of the crash and whether anyone sustained injuries were not immediately available by the time of publication.
Police had also not yet issued an official statement on the incident or confirmed the extent of the damage to the two vehicles.
