The exercise, currently underway at the Namataba-based campus, has drawn excitement and reflection among graduands who are set to receive certificates and diplomas in various health-related disciplines.

According to the school’s Internal Auditor and Public Relations Officer, Simon Ssebakijje, more than 500 students are expected to graduate during the upcoming ceremony.

He noted that preparations are in advanced stages, with the gown collection marking a key milestone in the countdown to the event.

“This is an important moment for our students. It reflects years of commitment, hard work, and resilience as they prepare to join the health workforce,” Ssebakijje said.

Several graduands who spoke during the gown collection expressed gratitude to the institution for equipping them with practical skills and knowledge.

Many said they are optimistic about contributing to Uganda’s healthcare system, especially at a time when demand for trained health professionals remains high.

Some students also acknowledged the challenges they faced during their studies, including financial constraints and the demanding nature of health science training, but said the upcoming graduation is a rewarding culmination of their efforts.

The 12th graduation ceremony is expected to attract families, faculty, and stakeholders from across the health and education sectors, as the institution continues to position itself as a key contributor to training mid-level healthcare professionals in Uganda.

Further details regarding the graduation on May 21, and chief guest are yet to be announced by the school administration.
