The health condition of Dr. Anthony Kkonde, the Mukono Municipality Health Director is still worrying.
The doctor was attacked by an unknown panga-wielding gang reportedly traveling on bodabodas and hacked him several times.
He had just parked his vehicle at Jobia Hotel walking back home located in a few metres before he was attacked.
He was rushed to Mukono General Hospital before referrals to Naggaalama and later Nakasero Hospital where he is still under intensive care unit-ICU.
Fortunately, at Nakasero doctors managed to handle his situation after a surgical operation which took almost six hours.
One of the family members at the hospital has revealed to this website that currently Dr. Kkonde is under full management of doctors and that they shall allow the rest to visit him after three days.
The Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Spokesperson, Luke Oweyesigyere noted that police embarked on investing and tracing the culprits who orchestrated the attack.
