The National Unity Platform (NUP) has adjusted its countrywide mobilisation tour program for three districts.

We hope they will not come up with other excuses.” The message reads in parts.

The adjustments indicate that the party shall hold the tour for Mukono on Wednesday this week, Masaka on Friday, and Mityana on Tuesday next week.

On Monday morning, NUP members in Mukono district confirmed their readiness to receive party president Robert Kyagulanyi for the tour on Tuesday.

Though the party has been facing repeated interceptions during its first national country tours, this did not stop the Mukono organising committee from listing activities to be implemented during the visit.

They had arranged to commence the day with the formation of the ‘Freedom Trail’ at Nakasajja then proceed to open the constituency party offices of the counties making Mukono.

Later, launch the campaign dubbed ‘Making Crime Pay’ intended to remind voters in Mukono North about their people abducted during the recent elections before opening the

Hereafter the trail would proceed to Mukono Taxi Park for the main rally.
