Religious leaders from different sects in Greater Mukono this week met at the Residents District Commissioner’s office Fred Bamwiine together with political leaders and prayed to God end the novel corona virus in the world.
These led by Pastor Samuel Lwandasa of Mt Lebanon Cathedral believe human knowledge alone cannot solve the puzzle the entire world is undergoing but a loud outcry to God’s mercy.
The Mayor of Mukono Municipality George Fred Kagimu appealed to the government lift the ban on all place of worship to let God take full control over his people. “Human knowledge at this moment needs God’s support which is partially blocked”
However, RDC Bamwiine anticipates more doom once that is done claiming that people are already reluctant towards observing the standard operating procedures against the virus.
