On October 20, 2019, Sunday evening police raided a leisure center popularly known as ‘Mama Jane Restaurant and Bar’ located at Nankulabye, Rubaga Division in Kampala after receiving intel about the fight among homosexual triangle lovers.

According to the Police Spokesperson, CP Fred Enanga, the love triangle involved the bar owner who was allegedly involved in a love affair with Prosy Tushabe who at the same time is said to have been a lover to  Annet Nabulime.

An eye witness who identified himself as Jordan Kalyango says a group of young ladies arrived at the leisure facility and started taking alcoholic drinks including beer, spirits, and expensive wines besides various eats.

As time passed, they took to the floor dancing together giving the impression to the viewers that they are friends.

Later, Muwonge the bar owner left the dance floor and went behind the bar where she purportedly wanted to check on her Mam yet she actually intended to create a chance to meet her lover Prosy Tushabe whose absence later created curiosity for Nabulime Annet who was also a lover to Tushabe to look for her all-over the place.

“The Latter returned shouting loudly accusing her friend of being untrustworthy, sleeping around with other lovers on top of pulling her hair. It shocked us to hear a woman fighting for a fellow woman. But above all, we were astonished to learn that Linda, the place manager, was involved in the accusations.” Kalyango noted.

These ugly scenes caused Nabulime to faint which created more chaos as people who had started gathering in numbers took the law into their hands to destroy the leisure pub before the bar attendants intervened and called the police.

Residents deprived of the act attempted to also burn Nabulime and Linda using car tyres which they said was also a disgrace to the community but only to be saved by the arrival of the place which managed to disperse the mob giving room to Linda to escape from the scene and soon after rushing Nabulime to the hospital to rescue her life.

This website has reliably learned that the centre ‘Mama Jane Restaurant and Bar’ has been accommodating many people in the LGBT movement.

However, Jane Mukisa, a businesswoman and the mother to Linda has denied the allegations whereas her husband Nathan Muwonge with whom they had separated many years, fainted out of shock upon learning that her daughter is involved in horrifying activities. Mr. Muwonge, who we later learned was a practicing pediatrician was rushed to Alpha Health Center in Bbunga where he suddenly died.

Enanga says police managed to arrest over five people from the bar including the managers and are currently detained at Mutundwe police station. He also says they are hunting for Linda Muwonge, suspected to offer services to LGBT groups besides promoting the movement.

“Those arrested shall be subjected to health tests, and once it is proved that they are involved in any queer activities against nature, they shall be arraigned before court and severely penalized. In the meantime, the leisure center is closed until investigations into the matter are concluded.” Enanga says.

In her statement to the police, Nabulime after she had recovered confirmed losing her temper and started a fight. She also revealed that they had much trust in Linda; she used to coordinate most of their outings not only at her leisure centre but also connecting them to several other safe places in Kampala.
