In total, the school scored eight first and three second grades, however Ochom is not impressed with his performance since he had aimed at scouring four aggregates.

The school’s academic champion attributes his success to teachers, regular revision, and trust in God. He wants to join Namilyango College School so as to stretch closer to his dream career of becoming a Civil Engineer.

“I pray for my backbone (mummy and dad) for good health and financial success so that they are able to further my studies at all levels.” Ochom prayed for parents; Polycap Omaset and Janet Amongin, both residents of Tororo.

The Director and also School Headmistress, Beatrice Lando Byarugaba is grateful to God for the performance of her pioneer candidates.

She says despite all challenges they have had including the wasted time during the Covid-19 lockdown, they still scored good grades which is a serious signal for a better future.
