Two people at the neighbourhood of Umoja International French School located in Mukono district have survived death after wind blowing off the school rooftop and ended up on their small house.
The school roof top has been blown off from the fourth floor of one the building by heavy rains and winds that started on Saturday evening.
Community members have managed to rescue the two men whose house has been turned into wreckage.
The school has managed to save learners who have been revising books in classrooms on the fourth floor where the roof has been blown off. However, it remains unclear on where they will have lessons from.
The Insight Post has established from outside that several other buildings are on the verge of losing rooftops after showing signs of falling off.
Our team has been restricted from entering inside the school however one of the teachers who has preferred anonymity has revealed that they warned the school about the rooftops of various buildings but nothing was done.
It should be recalled that the school occupied the buildings that used to house the famous club of shakers and lodges that closed after the owner ran bankrupt.
