Residents at three villages of Nasuuti, Ham Mukasa and Kitete in Mukono Municipality have applauded United Christian Center-UCC, Mukono branch for extending to them food reliefs during this lockdown period.
According to the residents, giving is an indescribable gift in and of itself that the world cannot understand since it enjoys receiving than giving.
However, UCC donated 3000 maize flour and 900 kilograms of beans they shared among 300 families. The entire consignment is worthy about shillings 8 million.

UCC administrators believe that the liberality of God’s blessing to human beings is to the liberality of Christian giving.
The scarcity redress did not discriminate among religions but members were selected by the local council-LCI Chairpersons whom were given 300 cards they issued out to the most vulnerable people at their villages.
Whoever turned up for the food support at the church, presented a card as proof entitlement before receiving 10 kilograms of flour and 3kilograms of beans.

St Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 9:6 that, “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” One of the scriptures spotlessly understood by UCC members.
Most of the relief beneficiaries praised the church’s generosity and the desire to give saying it is God’s given gift.
