Police is yet to examine Masaka Regional Police Spokesperson, Muhammad Nsubuga who was arrested on Sunday for allegedly drinking beer on the lord’s holly table of Kimanya catholic parish church.
The officer who failed to beat security surveillance at the church to enter with a full crate of beer, managed to run a bottle inside.
The officer who seemed to have drunk throughout the day wanted to undress inside the church as well as demanding for playing circular music for him to dance, according to the church security guard, Maurice Masaaba.
However, Masaaba together with the head of laity managed to stop him from destroying church properties, later they contacted police and took him away.
The Regional Police Commander, Paul Nkore says they were embarrassed with the actions of their officer and they shall examine mental state.
A source at Masaka police ranks Muhammad Nsubuga in the first position among the drunkard officers in the region.
