The head teacher for St. Josephat Junior school located at Kabonera in Kakuuto County, Kyotera district is under spotlight for allegedly molesting underage pupils.
David Sseremba, also a councillor at Kyotera district local government was summoned at Mutukula police station for questioning against the accusations of performing outrageous acts especially on primary six and seven pupils.
According to our anonymous source at the school, the head teacher severally lockup himself in office during the evening hours together with about one or two girls between the age of fourteen to sixteen.
Fortunately, one of the girls aged 15, revealed what always happen inside the head teacher’s office.
According to our source inside the school, Sseremba molests the innocent girls by fondling, attempts child solicitation as well as showing them pornographic materials harmful to their being.
Our source also revealed that the minor who exposed the teacher was examined forthwith and found with some hickey bruise on her various body parts.
Our reporter in Kyotera approached Sseremba for an explanation about the accusations but declined to say anything. The reporter however explains that Sseremba looked slightly irritated and also sounded annoyed. “Turn into a judge and sentence me.” He responded to a reporter.
The Insight Post has established that before Sseremba joining St. Josephat, he was terminated from Kakuuto Advanced Nursary and Primary School where he used to serve as a head teacher.
We probed further from his former school director to find out reasons that triggered the termination but she declined to say anything saying it is good for certain issues to remain administrative.
We also reliably established that Sseremba manages a beer depot and one bar at Kakuuto. These also acts as centers for connecting young girls to work in bars especially at Mutukula boarder, districts of Kyotera and Rakai.
The ministry of education, science and sports forbids teachers who molests students and pupils at all levels of education. The ministry warned to revoke licenses for all the teachers involved in the act.
